FAQ
I’ve never seen anything like this platform before. How do I know you’re legit?
We could start with an online 30-minute complimentary meet, greet & discovery. Change of Edge is dedicated to building trust and providing you with a positive experience, so if you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Why should we trust your consultations or feedback over our current coach's advice?
Our consultations and feedback are designed to complement the guidance you receive from your coach/team. We may bring a fresh perspective and specialized expertise that can provide additional insights. Change of Edge is an extra resource. The goal is to augment and enhance the valuable work that your coaches are already doing.
We can get some of the information you provide for free on other websites or attend seminars, why would we pay you?
While it’s true that there is a lot of free information available online and through attending seminars in person or online, our services offer personalized, tailored guidance that you can’t get from general resources. We provide specific, actionable feedback based on your unique needs and goals, saving you time and helping you achieve results more efficiently. Attending seminars and meetings often means giving up weekends and taking time away from your regular schedule. With our platform, you can access knowledgeable advice and support at your convenience, without sacrificing large chunks of time traveling or required hours in attendance. Change of Edge recognizes the importance of your precious & valuable personal time.
As a new coach, can I use Change of Edge for mentorship and guidance?
Absolutely! Change of Edge is designed to support coaches at many levels. We offer mentorship, or short-term consultations. Professional advice to help you develop your coaching skills, grow your programs or navigate through the business portion of figure skating.
How do you ensure the confidentiality of consultations and feedback?
Your privacy is my priority. Be assured that all consultations and feedback sessions are completely confidential. Your information and discussions will not be shared with any third parties, ever.
Our board is hesitant to embrace innovation and allocate funds towards new initiatives
It’s not uncommon for boards to lean towards caution, as it should be, especially when it comes to trying new initiatives and allocating funds. However, exploring new ideas and investments can often lead to growth and innovation for an organization. It might be helpful to open a dialogue with a 30-min complimentary discovery meet-up, to address any questions they may have & discuss the potential benefits. This way your board can carefully weigh the return on investment by trying a new approach. It’s all about finding the right balance between prudent decision-making and embracing opportunities for progress.
